Management

History
The history of Safran Cabin goes back to the 30's when the companies Monogram and Driessen were founded in respectively California and the Netherlands. In 2008 the galley, inserts and cargo activities of these companies were acquired by Zodiac, following the acquisition of the market leader in cabin interiors, C&D Aerospace in 2005. A few years later other well-known cabin interior suppliers were added, including Sell, HeathTecna and the Richards Company (TIA), bringing in a wealth of expertise in commercial cabin interiors and electrical inserts for business jets.
Safran acquired Zodiac Aerospace in 2018, and the Cabin activities have formed the company Safran Cabin.
Quality
Cabin Interiors and equipment play an important role in the crew and passengers' comfort, safety and well-being during the flight and must meet the most stringent quality, security and reliability requirements.
Total customer satisfaction is a priority for us, and Safran Cabin's quality policy accordingly addresses two main objectives:
- Flight and passenger safety: Safran Cabin has an established organization, as well as processes for development, production and maintenance. These are managed and overseen either internally or within our network of approved subcontractors, and ensure compliance with the international aviation authorities' airworthiness requirements and our customers' requirements.
- Operational performance: to ensure that each item meets not only the technical and operational requirements but also aesthetic expectations, Safran Cabin applies its certified management system from the design phase through to operational support. As production rates on our programs gather pace, special attention is paid to making our processes and products absolutely reliable.
